Should I sell my two gtx 480's and buy one gtx 590?they are both over clocked to 580 stock. Will it be a jump in performance?

590's reference designed PCB can't handle the high current/voltage, and the card ends up cooking/frying itself.Wow, wasn't expecting that! What's wrong with the 590?
At stock it is, but the OP is thinking he could get performance of GTX580 SLI by overclocking the GTX590. It's understandable, but it's a shame that the current PCB simply ain't up to the job.I thought that 480SLI was pretty similar in performance to a 590? Of course there is the problem of the 590's going bang![]()

But to be honest, unless he's planning to overclock the GTX590 cores to beyond GTX580 stock speed, I don't see the point since he can just overclock his GTX480s to become close to stock GTX580 speed.
