Do you do internet banking on your phone?

Just a general question, I mean with SSL enabled it wont go through the network proxy so in theory other than shoulder surfing it should be safe right?

I get the texts off my bank to tell me my statement every week.
It also sends me a text if I go under a certain limit etc, which never happens because i'm loaded.

I don't login using my mobile network though.

Basically this ^ I don't have the need. It's easier to do it on a computer so that's there I do it.

I do when I need to access it on the move, not because of security concerns its just a pig to use.

I do check that no one is over my shoulder but from a technical point of view I have no reason to distrust the SSL implementation

One of my banks has an iphone app that I use. It's useful in a situation where all you need is a quick mini-statement.

Yup, that's what I use (the Natwest) app for iOS. Nice way to quickly know your balance

No, it may be secure, but I just don't trust it over a 3G connection.

Besides I have never really had cause to use it outside of a PC, telephone banking is just as effective if you really must access information from a mobile and without the (perceived) risk.

No, only because HSBC don't seem to support it. There's no app, for Android anyway, and the website would be far too clunky on a small display.

I am quite the opposite.
i would never chance internet banking ona mobile, I don't udnerstand the security in that fashion, and am not clear on 3g veresus wifi for security, so simply wouldn't risk it.

Have considered and wanted to do so on occasion, but if I need a quick statement I just use a cash machine instead.
