New Silverstone Case - PRE-ORDER Now!

been thinking of getting a raven for a while, which one is best to go for? the rv01, 02 or 03? personal i like the looks of the rv01 the most
 
Looks rather ugly to me.
Dont like the 'fins' or the gold trims.

Silverstone should make more classy looking cases tbh like the Fortress FT-02.

No disrespect, but have you been living under a rock? This is the 6th case Silverstone have done with the rotated motherboard in just over 2 years, so it's not like it's anything new.

Yes, cooling is improved because they use the natural stacking effect of heat rising to cool these cases and get all the heat coming out of the top (which is what confuses me about the Raven 3 - the design totally screws with that principle).

Also there's less strain on your motherboard having the graphic cards positioned vertical like that.

I like the case the front could have been more blacker and looked better, 10 3.5 hdd supported... will be nice too see it setup and see how it looks, and 2 usb 3.0 ports which is good also.

why? It's still a vertical arrangement like the other cases. just they've added the option this time for more fans...
I'm not sure if the extra fans slots will help or harm ,but I'm very interested!

and someone came up with an idea I liked... how about putting a 240 rad in the front? with a little work it's more than possible, and silverstone confirmed this too :)

True, play up the gold and throw in a pair of Phantom GTX570s or 580s and some OCZ Gold or Mushkin Blackline and you're away. Black and yellow braiding too.

Still don't change the fact it's still a bit ugly and I think they've screwed the design lol
 
I had the RV01 for 2 years until a few days ago. The whole 90 degrees rotation is ok and is handy for connecting things on the top but tbh the air flow wasn't anywhere near as good as I expected, regardless of the face heat rises. Just switched to HAF-F and the difference is stupid. Unless they've changed dramatically, they look a hell of a lot better than they perform.
