Anyone playing tonight?
Yeh I should be about tonight.
Some of you guys get mahoosive scores, is that because you are playing high ticket games? From past experience I try to keep out of heli's
I can't imagine just getting this game now and playing against established players who know the maps and everything. It is quite funny when I come up against new players now and think 'WTF are you doing?!' when they are just roaming around the middle of the map and then realise that was exactly what I played like when I started!

go on hc with copter/tank and rape hows that better player anyone can get big scores on hc doing this.
decent scores but playing with 4 or 5 mates who are decent on pub server hc against un organized randoms
Yeah was fun. You can see from the scorecard you posted I was diving into the action a lot!
I like it that way, can't stand lurking around trying to get kills for the sake of it. If I get a good KDR then thats a bonus. Too many times I've come across people who get owned on the server, then 5 minutes later come back with "We've checked your stats and all I can say is KDR!" - remember that Rifleman, those two idiots following us around all the servers one evening? Thing is, they did not win a single match against us - sure they had quite good KDR ratios but thats all they were doing, no arming, no covering when armed etc etc and as a result losing each time. Good fun winding them up though.
We don't play hardcore.

lol you see rifle gets scores like that cause squark flies the chopper properly, he does loops around the mcoms, with rifle gunning out the right with the rest of the chopper(defrag, an anyone else in the chopper) jumping an arming.
unlike you who just hovers back behind your own base spamming both ggunners forward kill whoring and not helping the team at all

How do I run the game without going through Steam? Created a shortcut, but it still starts up Steam every time
nM isnt hc so you should be fine

If you bought it through Steam then you have to play it through Steam, not that that is a bad thing, Steam is great!
because its easier to get more kills on hc
a lot of big scores are done on hc with vehicle rape and spawn raping.
the only way your going to get above 70 on a rush map for example on a normal mode is with vehicles or with a very good squad against noobs.
like said before play with a balanced team of decent people you aint getting them scores

Personally i am happy if i get a 1:1 KDR.
I played BF2 a lot and for me the fun is working as a team and helping your team achieve the objectives. (or at least try)
The reason i play DICE games is for the teamwork.
If all that concerns people is KDR then the COD series is available.

Depends what you mean as a high score. But with the score that Rifleman posted, that wasn't on HC. You can see, I was there (albeit only in the very end). I get scores of 40+ on 'normal' mode, and I very rarely use vehicles.

well 60 plus scores without vehicles on normal
40 is a big leap to 70. if the server has decent teams on each side you dont get the scores that is all was trying to say . well not 60-70 without vehicles or very very rarely.
it doesnt matter at end of day lets just get on and play .
