Any Firearms Owners Here ?

Just own an over and under shotgun at the minute, id like to make the move to a rifle (.17 hmr/.22 lr) but firearm laws here in n. ireland are still pretty strict. All weapons including air rifles have to be held on an FAC.

Yea the M4 must be bolt action still? I thought automatic and semi-automatic firearms were illegal in this country?

Edit: Or is the M4 something to do with being in the services? Rather than personal recreational use

Ah that makes sense. That's awesome! Need to join a club at some point and work on getting a section 1 so I can get something similar. Need to be prepared for the zombie apocalypse!

Wow this is an old thread . Just got my new toy the other day

Decided the 243 was a bit lairy for foxes ^-^

Looks sweet. I'm on my first FAC so Devon and Cornwall will only let me have a closed ticket until renewal so no hunting for me. They have clamped right down lately, when the feo popped round he told me that they are now only giving out rimfire on a first FAC down here.

How does she shoot? Never used that calibre before. You on airgunbbs?

I am on Airgunbbs but dont post much now . Only got it sighted in and not used it in anger and waiting on a silencer but lite and a lot less kick than the 243 . Charlie is gonna hate me hehe

**** me the only guns ive ever seen are highly illegal handguns and shotguns...i didn't even know owning guns like this was legal in the UK.

I used to own a lanber 12bore o/u and a cz 17hmr rimfire rifle. Simmons whitetail classic scope imported from USA, Harris bipod and a Sak moderator.

I don't have the guns anymore, I still have my shotgun certificate though, think I may do this later in life. Got too much going on at the moment but I did enjoy pigeon shooting with the decoys and hunting rabbit, fox etc , even had fun Down the club
