Never liked the royal family. Dont see why we dont get rid of them.

Indifferent.

There's a personal view, reality check, and a little bit of disapointment.

No interest covers the first, the value of the event/royals checks the 2nd, worth more to us than without.

Society disapoints, it's a shame we've moved on from being a happy and joyfull collective that bonded together for events like the royal weddings. I remember well the royal wedding between charles and diana, we had the whole village out, everybody enjoying each others company on a bloody good day.

As guilty as anybody i guess, but atleast i see what a sad bunch we've become

I believe TheCenturion is a boarder at a public school so may have different holidays to most in the education system.

Yes it is.

Not an official one though. We have to work it but we get a day off in lieu instead, but I'm on annual leave then anyway so I don't really care

I'm not bothered about the wedding itself but everyone will be off work so it should be a good long weekend. Couldn't care less about who foots the bill.

Some schools finished for Easter a couple of weeks back meaning that they'll go back the day after Easter Monday - really daft planning if you ask me! Thankfully I finished for Easter on Friday

I'll probably watch the wedding on TV - not all the build-up to it, but the actual service I probably will.

What's made you so mad?

Just the way it's being promoted as the deal of the century. There was just an advert for Sky HD and it was using the Wedding as a way of getting you to get Sky HD so you can watch it in full HD goodness of Sky News HD... at the end the woman said something like "ring up now to see if you can get yours installed in time". Who in their right mind would buy Sky HD just because they can watch this is HD. It just really grind my gears.
