Ati 5850 will it be ok for crysis 1 and crysis 2

I played Warhead on a 5850 with a 1920x1080 screen. Very good performance for the most part. What size screen will be used?

Any screen size up to 1920 x 1200 resolution the 5850 will be fine for no matter the size, the resolution is what you want to be watching for. Your sig says you have a 5870 ..? If you mean the 5870 it runs great on the resolution 1920 x 1200 and under. Yes crysis will run fine at slightly lower settings as it does with any single gpu and crysis 2 you can max out the settings without any problems.

A 5850 will be just fine for any crysis and is still a very good card and especially for the current price

I used to game with Crysis on a 5850, its a very capable card. It struggles on some huge explosions close up, but apart from that it was very good.

Mine was not overclocked either

I have played crysis1 on my 40" 1080p res tv with my 5850 and my FPS mainly stayed in the 30-40 region. It was smooth experience though overclocking the card did help further:).

Purgatory is dead right. The size of monitor means nothing, It's the resolution that counts. A 50" monitor screen at 1080P will be the same to a graphics card as a 21" 1080P screen.

What card will play Crysis constant 60+ fps highest settings with 4 - 8xAA/16xAA with heavy gunfire at 1920x1200/1080. Or will it be a few years away yet?

Though to be honest when you play Crysis I can't tell at times there's no AA unless you sit still and examine everything. You're too busy moving about to even spot jaggies. It's only when you snap a shot you'll see it.

None. Cause graphic card aside, currently CPU is not yet fast enough to keep the frame rate at above 60fps at all time, due to the game only uses two cores, despite the game is fairly CPU demanding.
