Worthy of it's own thread I think.

Super BT Mono Froyo, allows you to route any audio on your phone through your cars BT.

So, if you have BT, but no SatNav, google maps voice will route through your cars BT. You can also do it for audio music on your phone but it's not amazing quality. Listenable though.

There are free and paid for versions.

Will come in handy in Florida later :)

What is a BT?

Is this a new thing?

Not be an iPhone bummer but my iPhone has done this for ages through my cars bluetooth?

Infact I'm pretty sure my mates HTC has been through my cars stereo at one point.

No, I doubt it's new, certainly not from a technology POV, but I've not seen mention of an Android App that actually does this previously and I know some have wanted it.

Yeah I have too on my previous 2 android handsets... I don't get what the app does? Phones do this anyway, don't they?

This isn't just music though, it will take the output from Google Maps and voice it over your BT too :) (although I have sat nav). My Desire won't play music over bluetooth, but that is a limitation of my car. This app gets around that

My friends Sony head unit allows me to play music and the audio from videos via bt.
My head unit has bt but I cannot play music from my phone.
Will check this out thank you.

So basically what this thing does is play phone audio which would usually play only over "phone audio" bluetooth through a "headset only" connected bluetooth device.

You got me all excited for nothing.

I have a Sony head unit that has Bluetooth and I listen to music and receive calls from my Desire HD through it with no apps necessary :)

Used BT Mono for a while, I'm not so sure why this variant is super though.

To clear the confusion up:

Playing music via bluetooth to stereo is via a BT Profile called A2DP which also allows for skip track/pause/play etc... and a high quality of audio. It's pretty fancy and nice.

This app will route the phone internal audio signal (eg what you'd hear out of the headphones) via bluetooth using the BT Profile "headset" (and possible hands free). This allows you to play music/google maps or whatever through your mono headset which is poor quality - but useful in a tight spot.

Lucero, I am disappoint!

And I will show you how via a thrashing in Wordfeud!
