this is what we see and were told its good no civilians at risk...

and I don't know where you get quotes like that from, either you're a tube or more naive than I thought. Since when does anyone anywhere believe there to be no risk to civilians in conflict?

That's what Nato believes apparently, Gaddafi is killing civilians willy nilly but our bombs and the rebels weapons haven't hurt anyone but soldiers/mercenaries, In fact according to the US Gaddafi's men are killing civilians and dumping the corpses where Nato bombs land... lmao

Where is the source for this?

Where is the source for this?

U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates has revealed that intelligence reports suggest Libyan loyalist forces have placed bodies of people they have killed at the sites of coalition air strikes so they can blame the West for the deaths.
Mr Gates told the CBS Face The Nation programme: 'We do have a lot of intelligence reporting about Gaddafi taking the bodies of the people he's killed and putting them at the sites where we've attacked.'

doing wonders for our deficit aswell everyone faces cuts while the goverment spends hundreds of millins on a war i bet its close to 700million down the drain already

those inteligence reports will no doubt be from the rebels or someones ass

But you can admit that those reports are not an impossibility?

So can we roll back to previous questions put to you, the ones you keep ignoring; Why do you seem to have such such strong anti western sentiment on the matter? Is it something personal? Is your personal situation directly affected by this situation? Does it implicate you and your family so much you need to sit on this forum and rant?

I dont have an anti west sentiment, yet i still feel that our attacks have been outlandish and unjuistifiable.

I also believe that the propaganda and stories that we hear are bias towards representing the rebels as fighting but not killing any innocent civilians is a complete lie.

Yet our media, government, money spinners seem to hush this up verrry quickly...

I agree, the media will spin any story to please audiences and make news more exciting. The usual "goodies" vs "baddies" stance makes good news, particularly if "our side" are made out to be the goodies.

The gripe that some people have in this thread should be with the media then.

Reporters and "correspondents" in the country of topic.

Personally I don't trust the information provided by any journalist/reporter striving to make a story and a name.

Never from the state, no?

A lot of your arguments could be used both ways to be fair, you don't know more than anyone else here and people are entitled to come to conclusions that differ from your point of view.

im 100% english with 100% english parents that were both christians, i have no personal intrest in libya or gaddafi and i have nothing against western countries.

i am not one of the gullible sheep of this country and i do not agree with trying to accuse gaddafi of using tanks , bombs , guns , artillery and mortars against civilians when it is obvious he is targeted armed rebel groups.

why should he be the bad guy for using the weapons available to him much like we have in afghanistan and iraq, i do not believe he is targeting civilians at all if that was the case there would be to many bodies and he would not be able to hide them , all of the cities he has attacked have been ones the rebels have either attacked and taken or ones they are defending in.
our own journalists have often commented that all of the civilians have already left so its obviously a big lie.
miserata obviously have civilians but from first hand accounts of people who have fled rhe city it does not apear any civilians are beeing massacred ofcourse some will be caught up in all of the fighting much like they were in iraq or afghanistan.

gaddafi wants to remain in power so he can not afford to be killing civilians , he knows eventually the UN will want to investigate what has actually happened and he will have no choice but to let them in.
the west are more than capable of monitoring whats happening on the ground from space or with drones. we already know russia has been watching via a satelite.

it is a civil war we have no right to interfer unless civilians are really beeing slaughted and it does not seem to be the case the west sure an opertunity for easy regime change unfortunately for them the rebels are not what they expected and now some leaders want to save face they can not afford to admit they were wrong.
gaddafi is doing no more to kill civilians than we did in iraq and afghanistan we have no right to punish him for doing exactly what we have done in recent times.

the hypocritical views of the wests military is a joke and that is one of the reasons im so much against all the BS
they would do the exact same stuff gaddafi is and they already have in iraq/afghanistan.
if people want to stop some real atrocities i suggest they look to yemen and other countries were civilians really are beeing targeted at this very moment.
