Anyone have any ideas how I could get in contact with the Arsenal Physio Team?
Searched the web to not much avail, sent a few emails off to the generic Arsenal web email accounts, but not hoping for too much.

Why do you want to contact them?
In England next month and would love to see if they allow volunteer work (as part of my Doctorate program) - as that's what I'm aiming for an all :)

Ring the club?

Seems logical right, but usually end up on hold for ages, wrong numbers etc and not always that cheap phoning from the States. Think I'll start making some calls Friday if I don't get any emails back.

Good work Rich_L, colinlewin got rejected but clewin has not :D (thus far).
Hopefully he may actually read those emails, fingers crossed! (probably say no anyway :(, or in fact just ignore me lol)

Maybe try some of the smaller clubs than Arsenal?
Maybe like Fulham, West Ham, Charlton etc?
Arsenal might be a bit suspect for someone coming in for work experience where the smaller clubs may not be as strict.

Or Man City

Good luck in getting through. They may need all the help they can get:

I'd imagine they're over swamped, blood dripping from every table, players screaming and Colin Lewin in a supply closet rocking back and forth as tears stream down his face.

Nah, I imagine Arsenal's physio as more like a celebrity diva retreat with the players demanding Feng Shui bed positioning or complaining the brand of sheet detergent plays 'avoc with their allergies :p

Well much to my surprise he got back to me pretty quickly!! Kind of the expected response but nice enough to respond at all :)
Hello Chris,

Sorry but we are not allowed to have people volunteering/shadowing etc. As you probably understand, we receive hundreds of letters asking for a similar thing and in fairness to everybody we have to say no.

Good luck with your studies and enjoy your trip to England.

You could always try Newcastle. Our physio's never seem to know what they are doing anyway so might appreciate the help.
