What is it with Ferrari drivers? Was at the Kings Road shopping at the weekend and the weather was nice, so all the Ferraris were out. That doesn't bother me, I like spotting a bit of exotica even if they are quite common these days. However, why do they all INSIST on driving along, getting the revs up a bit and then nailing it? They all have exhaust flaps on them now and just make a really unpleasant noise. And to boot, the drivers don't even use the revs. Maybe if they were making a racket at 9000rpm+ I might see their point, but creeping off the lights slowly and blatting it is just, well, ghey. Get a life, Ferrari drivers :p

Rant over

Haha, we don't really see any Ferrari drivers round here so it isn't too much of a problem :p

Guess they are just out enjoying their lovely cars and having a bit of fun.

Its your duty to bounce of the rev limiter in the Kings Road in a Ferrari :)

For an even better example of idiot in Ferrari try the Arabs up by Harrods.

There was a 360 Spyder which refused to play when I went for a blast last weekend :( Roads were clear and empty and he was tootling along under 50mph on some beautiful country lanes. Boring ! :p

Nob in that ferrari for doing it in such a confined space but boy did it sound good.

Saw plenty of Fezza's around Surrey this weekend and why not the weather was glorious :D

I saw loads about yesterday as well... only i didn't notice them getting the revs up. me on the other hand, I was working from home so wen't out on a few drives just so I could make some noise :)

Still loving the flat 6 sound muchly!

You guys don't have many new Ferraris in your towns do you? Old ones sound great, new ones sound unpleasant. Wouldn't even be so bad if they sounded even remotely like Ferrari GT race cars - but they don't :(

Nah, absolutely no new Ferraris around Prestbury/Alderley Edge ;)

similar experience a couple of months ago

was sitting behind a AM rapide up a slip road onto the M8 the guy nailed it into the charing cross underpass and silence :(

my rattly vectra drowning out what pitiful noise it did make

epic fail modern cars their far too quiet

ive been driving round recently trying to bait them in ma diesel truck ( dodge ram cummins 600hp 1500ft/lb) but not found any in convenient locations so far.

Best ive had found was a 2004 gallardo and he didnt stand a chance, ive got a camera fitted now in the back bumper for kicks, ill see what i can upload :)
