Fox is really nasty and should never have been so critical of the guys purchase, people do what they want its nothing to do with him he's such a **** anyway.

Why cant he just be happy and post flowers and bunnies when people buy a new car? Its nothing to do with him how much they paid or where from!

:D :D :D

To me the whole letter seems an attempt to dramatise the fact that the car needs a new cv joint which to be honest can't be that expensive. Also i've never heard a CV boot make a noise that you could hear without driving like Ace Ventura. Over react much op?

As above, horribly horribly worded letter. Seriously, you were silly enough buying the car, don't be silly enough to send that letter too.

Top tips:

- Leave out the cringeworthy attempts at humour
- Stop threatening them with 'some kind of legal action'
- Make the request that they sort the issue, if they don't, take it from there.
- Read your warranty documentation to see if ABS/traction control issues are covered and/or what else is excluded from being covered by the warranty.

Most of these warranties are worth jack anyways. I went to see another Evo 7 at a dealer and it included one of these fabled warranties.

Given the extent of the cost of when things go wrong on Evo's I was intrigued to see how good it would be.

£250 towards Engine or gearbox repairs only.

Given that a rebuild would most likely cost north of £2k and replacing a gearbox at least £1200 - I can safely say that the warranty was worth **** all.

From one quote, you replied with everything and more!

Smacks like you just wrote this is one go and pressed 'Send' - not the sharpest tool in the box are you?

Sorry to be harsh but that is really poorly written and it will be laughed at. Its not just the spelling and grammar mistakes, but just the way you've put things. Just state the facts and cut all the other crap out.

I take it you're sending a letter rather than email otherwise it will be ignored no matter what you put.

orite m8, h8 2 say i told u so.

Can't say I can really empathise with your situation given how badly you reacted when we all gave advice to return the car during the cooling off period. As people have mentioned your rant will have pretty much bugger all impact given how it is at the moment.
