Traveling by plane question...

This is probably a really stupid question, so I'm sorry in advance, but can I take a SLR Digital camera on the a plane in my hand luggage? Like I said probably stupid but i haven't been on a plane in a long time and don't know what security is like lately...

If you switch it on during the flight it will interfere with the electronics and you might crash.

I once forgot to turn my phone off, and it was on for the entire flight, including take off and landing. By some miracle the plane didn't crash and I lived to tell the tale.

Yes but surely if you have it at a high enough frequency it would not reflect?

How much stuff can you get in hand luggage? I need to take 3 days worth of clothes with me, and an SLR camera, think this can be done?

Just wear all the clothes and put camera on strap around the neck. Then you have no hand luggage!!
