He went down far far to easily was never a penalty, he looked like he was expecting contract tried to make the most of it, realised it wasn't going to happen and tried to bail out.

Can you point out to us where in the rules of Association Football is the ruling about 'Going down to Easy' or 'Soft Penalties' ????

Yes, I thought he's supposed to be 'World Class'? His shooting and crossing were awful, couldn't hold the ball up very well neither.

His passing and movement were excellent throughout the game, and while his shooting obviously wasn't up to the task tonight, some of his shots were close and showed good technique. I'd count 'awful' shooting as some O'Shea hoof that hits the corner flag.

Again, he didn't set the game alight but 'awful', really?

And it's ironic you mentioned him being bad at holding up the ball as I consider one of the best players in the world at doing that, which he demonstrated tonight...

I'm amazed anyone could pick on Rooney for being poor tonight, there were a good 9 other players in United shirts who were much worse.

Again, a 'world class' player is going to get picked on when they are mediocre. You expect players to perform to their expected standard, when they don't they will get targeted over others.

Irrespective of whether I agree with your opinion or not, The Football Stadium is most typically a Manchester United circlejerk. You'll get a few decent debates/conversations with a few of the fans, but aside from that, expect to be called delusional/a troll if you disagree with their views.
