I have been messing with my PC just before a Lan event tomorrow.. which I know... I shouldn't have done..... *hangs head in shame*

Anyways I had been using the 270 Beta drivers i think version 270.51. and night before last Nvidia update told me about driver updates so I got the latest drivers 270.61 and I seem to be having all kinda of graphics issue etc last night. thing is it could be because of other things as well, so I was just hoping if someone else could tell me if they have been having problems with the new drivers?

Cheers.

Uninstall the drivers and use driver cleaner then reinsall the new ones and see if you still get the problems.

Cheers, will do this, but was just curious if anyone else has used the new drivers and experince any problems (trying to decided if I should roll back to the beta drivers)

I installed the new ones last night as I realised since a system restore I hadn't updated them again so they were years out of date /face-palm. It was all plain sailing for a couple of hours of Minecraft then the screen just went black and that was that. No problems so far today though.

The new 270.61 WHQL drivers were released on 18th of this month, i installed this driver yesterday, did lots of benchmarking and lots of gaming all with no issues.

Did you delete your previous drivers via control panel add/remove programs ??

I have always deleted old drivers the above way, and then installed new drivers and not had any issues.

Updated last night, no problems what so ever, but I always use the clean install option under custom install.

I have tired deleteing the drivers but have been having all kinds of hassles... but like i said it not necessarily the drivers. could be a lot of things including issues i have been having with my PSU!

Anyways Cheers guys =) I will probably do a fresh install of windows and then reinstall the latest drivers =)

nVidia mate, crap drivers.

Fanboi mate, ignore pointlesstroll comment

On topic,
I had no probs going from the 270 betas to the released 270s last night. I can only suggest a manual uninstall of all nvida software (Don't use a driver cleaner, they tend to cause more problems than they fix these days) and a full reinstall from a fresh download of the drivers from the nvidia site.

**Edit

Just seen your post above so good luck :(

did you download them from nvidia, tried to yesterday and gave up in the end, said it couldnt connect to the d/l server or the file size it downloaded was 3/4mb and when i tried to open it said that its not a valid 7zip file :(.

If you can't be any help, please keep quiet.
