Annoying Ferrari drivers

I don't understand why you would buy a super fancy car and then act like a ******* in it. All it proves is that you're a *******. Everyone can already see that you own a very nice car, so they're already going to be looking for clues that you're a ballbag, because that will sate their jealousy. Revving like an idiot or doing burnouts at the lights or whatever isn't going to help matters.

Reminds me of a funny story.

My Dad was at the pub one afternoon a couple of weeks back, and 2 guys left the pub and got into their Ferraris. Now I've got no problem with a bit of revving, but apparently these guys were revving the nuts off these Ferraris, showing off to everyone outside and just generally being **** heads (consider this was at a quiet pub in a little village in the country). They then hooned off down the (country) road rather quickly to say the least.

Bit later my Dad went home, and about half a mile down the road at a junction he found one of the Ferraris had gone straight into an oak tree which I thought was quite funny . Nothing life threatening, but a significant amount of damage had been caused.

*This isn't meant to sound bitter or jealous, I've got no problem with people owning supercars (and would own one myself if I had the money), but I thought this story was worth telling *

And anyone seeing that after seeing them tooling around in the car park is just going to think "Fair play, he deserved that".

I don't really understand this thread, so it's bad to rev a VXR and tool about in it.....and it's equally annoying if somebody does this in exotica? I find it always puts a smile on my face to hear a nice engine. Chill out, enjoy life... we all live once and all that.... can't believe this can annoy anyone!

I have scanned quite a few of these "annoying......." threads. It amazes me how many people get annoyed about such small things that others wouldn't even think about.

You have to be careful when you do that, it might annoy people.

I love hearing engines on a car like a Ferrari or similar roar so I enjoy hearing these people floor it

And besides, most of these people have worked hard for the chance to own these cars so fair play to them, let them enjoy it. I'd be the same

Exactly, not much point in having one if you can’t play around and hear the thing.

Its not like its just the ferrari owners that do this, don't we all like to have a bit of window down fun listening to the exhaust note ?

I wouldn't wish it on anyone either, but considering how fast my dad said he drove off down a country road and towards a fairly blind junction, I'm not really surprised he stacked it.

Would rather hear it coming from a supercar than a barried up hatchback.

Doing it in enclosed streets where it's just going to echo and reverberate about the place and damage peoples hearing an make them **** them self is a bit inconsiderate!
