Hot weather here in Britain. Enjoying it.

3 weeks sgo my idle temps were hovering around 31C give or take a bit.

Last two evenings I see they are now around 37C to 44C.

Ok, we are having a warm spell. And this is the first year I have really monitored temperatures.

Not worried. Just interested to know if other folks have seen thier idle temps increase lately.

If not, then I might get concerned. Otherwise, meh...:)

its more than likely the warm weather causing the increase in temps mine have gone up a few degrees in the past few days lol

I dont like summer :( it makes my temps go up by around 5 degrees and im always on the look out for dust!

just leave your pannel door open, or use a windowed one, and when u see dust just use one thos electric pumps that come with blow up beds to get rid of the dust, or alternative is to use compressed.

never a dusty system!

Just a 3 week old build, so probably not lots of dust yet. Likely ambient temp increase.

But out of interest...

Do any of you guys use compressed, canned air? I notice canned air initially appears liquified if sprayed at close range. It soon evaporates though. Any idea if it leaves a residue? Conductive?

I'd be switching the pc off prior to using it, of course.

allmost all know gases turn into liquid at hight enought pressure... if you cool it down alitle or spray it else where 1st to release presure. it should not be so liquid intesive when u spray it. i personly use a electric air pump with a tight nosile as it eliminates the problem of liquides, but canned gas shouldnt leave or be liquid long enough to damage anything tho

Edit : every one seams to prefer the canned gas so i wouldnt worrie to much about it seeing everyone else does that, just make sure u use it correctly (should be instuctions on how far to hold it and how long you should hold a spray for)

Just finished a session of F2P Battlefield so a little skewered readings:

CPU temps are hovering 48°C - 51°C.

GPU now around 48°C.

Yup, it's definitely getting warmer. I'd say 5-10°C warmer in general down in London.

my pc may not take all the heat that london gains in the summer

its allready fault (cba to fix it so will get a replacement)

live by the thames and theirs a beach next to me so it might just go for a swim!

Edit : point being, temps are just getting redicilous in the summer

I usually open the side panel of my rig and dedicate a fan to the innards :D

It makes me wonder how enthusiast gamers in Singapore and India cope...

in singapore they sleep during the day most the time

cusian lives their. so i wouldnt really imagen a heat being to big of a problem seeing their asleep in the day (as far as i have herd of)

and i do that in the summer, but its not enought. i may just end up having the cpu cooler diped in a bow of watter in one thos plastic oil caching things (like a pan but with a spout on it) and then just keep feeling the boil with a slow stream of water and attach a pipe to hole and lead the exces water out into the gardan

hows that for a liquid cooling system? (please dont try this on anything you wish to keep working)
