I can't believe this dumb bimbo. She's complaining that western state sponsered media is losing the information war against alternative media and says that the western media needs more funding. Doesn't she realise that the reason people turning away from CNN, BBC, ect is because no one wants to listen to what is essentialy government propaganda

Sarcasm aside this is quite a serious subject as in that video she is essentialy admitting that the western media is totaly state controlled and not free and independant like many people are led to believe.

The word 'propaganda' is has some extreme connotations and is very loaded. That said, strictly speaking it is valid, however, it is more about differing world perspectives and how public opinion both foreign and domestic is influenced by media.

Western media is pretty independent, but by their nature they have western values and bias. People are more likely to seek other perspectives now.

Whilst I don't see an issue with this for educated people, obviously you do have issues with extremism and what information people choose to consume.

That Western media is a mouthpiece for supporting Western activities - illegal or not - and prompting a western bias in all its reporting, should not be a surprise to anyone who has lived through 9/11, the Iraq/Afghan wars and Libya. Thankfully the information age has seen a relative increase in the average IQ of people and they are demanding as much information, from as many perspectives, as they can get. At least Mrs. Clinton classified it as a "war" - that pretty much sums it all up.
