335i M Convertible

They got 2 at Portiacraft, big money for what they are though, your also buying a cabriolet at the worst time of year now, a 30k car at Xmas is now 32k.

You know what his kids are going to moan about dont you? Daaaaaad we cant see nothing from here thats the problem in a 911 not room at that age, mine moaned about exactly that many moons ago.

Don't kids need booster seats now though? If you jack them up high enough they ought to find it easier to see...

Its still not great because of the big front seats and small back window, but maybe, 10-12 years ago we didnt bother with booster seats :)

Get yourself over there, that one is private, get the seller to put an OPC warranty on the car at your expense (which will give it the health check you want doing too) so he can hand it on to you without you having to wait 90 days, and the jobs a goodun.

Is that a plan or what :D

How much is an OPC warranty on that? Is there any excess and how comprehensive is it? We're still talking large (£1-3k?) service bills on top of that for consumables no?

Back window? If you can see the back window on a soft top, you're clearly doing it wrong... :D

Warranty is about a grand and 200 quid odd for the inspection, covers everything important.

Yes hes going to pay a few quid in servicing but he wants a Porsche no?

I think for anyone that cant cough up 10k for an engine without it hurting OPC warranty is the only way to go, you want to enjoy these cars not worry about a big bill.

Oh, if you have kids and are planning on doing anything that needs bootspace for clothes/buggy/etc, you wont be able to drop the roof :p

You know what i mean, yea with the roof down things improve, if he gets a hard top in the end he gets small back windows :D

If I was to get another Porsche (probably a Cayman) I'd only get it if I could get a Porsche warranty on it, it's not worth the worry without (please read as "I'm getting old and dull").

A grand sounds reasonable to me.

Its without a doubt the absolutely best money you can spend.

Look at Will Gill at the moment, cracked cylinder on his 997 5.5k bill coming up.

DM; also you can renew them up to 9 years from new no? Is there any milage restraints?

120k miles i think it is, i havent looked for a while.

9 years and 125k miles its 1150 quid for a 997, bit cheaper if you take out the 2 year version.

what up with it?

Its S money for a non S car in exchange for a ropey looking body kit.

I'd rather have the first one you picked out and 10k in my pocket than that last one.

And that blue one again i just couldnt pay 5/6/7 lumps over the odds just for a body kit.
