Hopefully picking up this afternoon to replace my L200.

The truck has been advertised on the Internet at a dealer with full view of its reg. no. so why did I feel the need to blank it out on the photo?

Don't these have a bit of a history of self-destructing engines?

From what I've read all the pickups have some sort of issues, one option to me was one that had done 90,000 miles and still drove like a dream. If it goes pop then it's an opportunity to get another one or maybe modify the existing engine. Every situation can be turned into an opportunity

After a bit of googling I don't think yours, being an 07 will be a problem anyway.

This seems to suggest that it was only models between 02 and 05.

Apparently they liked to chuck conrods through the block :D

You could stick one of those monster diesel beast 6 litre jobs in if it dies :)

I had a brand new 2008 one of these (pretty much identical apart from different load cover) and to be honest it was quite a bit of fun having no weight on the back and RWD. I did 50k in it in a year before someone decided to hit me head on in the ice. I hope you enjoy visits to the petrol station :)

My perents got an Xtrail recently very close to getting one of these tho, just a bit big for there needs.

I've been tempted by one or a Mitsu pickup for hauling the bikes back and forth from the tracks.

Awsome rides enjoy it!

I had a d22 navara for 5 years and didn't have a single cost from it other than normal servicing, literally not one problem (granted I was lucky), it was great to me. My wife wants another truck but I've got them out of my system.

Anyway, enjoy it, they're good at what they do.

man up thems truck seats :)

Lol I find my sisters previous truck, an 06 plate Defender 110 pickup more comfy than the Navara :p

However she now owns a MissyBissy Warrior thing, that beats both of them :)
