Parts stolen

Well this morning I woke up in a good mood. Got ready and went outside to get in my car to go to work. To my suprise all my centre caps have been stolen. Then I was really ****ed off so I just got in and didnt look around my car.
Got to work and a friend said wheres the rear of your car gone. I looked and some ******* piece of **** has stolen my rear valance as well Now Im really ****ed off and if I see it on any car I will rip it off. Not happy at all and now I have to buy the parts all again.

What car is it? Nasty thing to happen, but unless its something aftermarket and rare, you dont want to put someone else through the upset unless you are 100% sure its them who took it.

Its a Fiesta ST and its a custom made rear valance. Basically has fins on it. I dont have a clue who took it. It was done some point through the night. Worse thing is that you would have had to lay on the side of the road to take the part and people would have had to drive around you if they wanted to get passed.

I wont be buying the custom part again cause its like £125 for it and Im not having it stolen again.

My friend got his caps stolen off his Fiesta ST too, think it is a common problem.

There was also a thread on here a while ago about someone whose body kit got stolen off their ST! They seem to be targeted by a lot of scum bags.

I know that they are targeted down south. I just cant believe it. It just really annoys me that no one saw nothing. I just dont understand why people do it cause it can only fit 2 models of Fiesta which they are unlikely to own.

Seems to be a common problem - there have been a few reports of this happening to other OcUK Forum Members.

Just some idiot that wants to make a quick buck really.

If/when you do replace the parts, perhaps it's worth wiring up some CCTV via a webcam and PC to see if you can get one of the culprits.

It'll be nicer if less of this scum got away with this and more of these thieving types were caught.

Theres had been people stealing the bumpers and skirts. But this part is a pain in the a***. Took ages for it to get made. Then ages to get a perfect colour match. In total I waited 4 months for it. Its been on my car for no more than a month and so scum just took it.
GF is looking to get CCTV put on the house to look at the cars on the street to hopefully stop this from happening again.

It's a great shame and I feel for you. You could look on the bright side though, the previous poster who had bits off an ST nicked had everything taken and the car itself damaged. At least it was only a rear valance and there is no damage to anything else.

Yeah that is true but they have taken my centre caps so I need to go buy some locking wheel nuts incase they come back for my alloys.

Im more suprised they didnt take my head unit cause I accidently left it in the car. Thats worth a lot more. I just hope they dont come back and take the rest of my car.

I wouldn't be worried about them nicking the car itself. It was probably just pikies who nick the sought-after ST bits and flog them on ebay for people to stick on their 1.25s

FFS, I ordered some new centre caps for my Focus ST alloys for when I get them refurbished soon, they cost £4.70 each, some people have no shame.
