EA Store - Easter Sale 50% off

After seeing a couple of threads regarding how users get treated by EA, i'd rather pay over the odds and stick to Steam.

Heh dealt with EA Store support twice, once I got an instant refund for APB + 4000 Battlefunds (owned everything worth having on EA Store and was fairly addicted to Heroes at the time).

Second time I didn't receive a Signature Edition code for DA2, got a code through within a few hours and a $10 voucher. Hadn't redeemed my original code so gave it to a friend, so all in all two copies for £20.

The price puts me off the most. Crysis 2/Bulletstorm are still £17.50 even at 50% off. You'll be able to get near that price from online retailers if you look hard enough, and you get a DVD and don't have to rely on EA Downloader.

Thanks.

EA Store isn't my favourite place to shop, and their full prices are daft (designed to put people off and go elsewhere I suspect). But half price on Shift 2 takes it down to a price I'm prepared to hand over.

PS Interestingly enough, my PC has crashed for the first time ever while going into screensave mode while DLing Shift2. On reboot the downloader has resumed where it left off, which is a good sign... possibly. But I'd prefer it not to have crashed in the first place. That's not a good sign at all. :-)

It'd good if there was a code that worked too. The xmas 50% sales you could then put in the 20% off code as well for 60% off altogether. Which meant I got BFBC2 Deluxe and DAO ultimate for £20 iirc. I suppose it depends what steam does and how much you want to play Crysis 2/ Bulletstorm or deadspace is the extra £4 worth it?

Not after the faff i had with BC2 Vietnam, there login systems are terrible there moyst be about 8 systems that all seemingly give you access to the same info its baffling.

Is mass effect 1 worth a fiver nowadays?
whats the DLC about, add much to the ME games?

/edit, and do the ME games support the 360 controller?

Might get a couple of things, Ive bought plenty from the EA store in the past and never had a single problem.

Bad Company 2 for <fiver seems like a bargain, never used EA directly beforehand, and for that price seems like a good time to test it out.

It's well worth a fiver. :)

There's only one DLC you should bother with and its called bring down the sky and its free. Not sure where you download it now though but I'm sure a quick search on google will help. The other one isn't very good its called Pinnacle station and this one costs money so don't bother imo.

It doesn't support the 360 pad, you would have use Xpadder or something else.
