Do people bother installing mouse drivers?

You can open up a lot more control over what the individual buttons do, in case the program doesn't do it for you. Aside from that, there's probably no point.

I've got a simple logitech mouse but I have the software installed so I can make the middle buttom/wheel the middle button and not just a stupid scroll.

So has its uses.

I installed the drivers for my Razer deathadder for the extra customisation features.

Which are?

I've got a deathadder and have never once changed anything in the drivers accept the refresh rate and I'm not even sure that makes a difference tbh.

The only thing else to customize is to change what the buttons actually do (which you will never realisticly use unless for a one off for something). Sure you can add acceleration to your mouse but why on earth would you do that either?

The drivers are useless.
