my DVD drive is being sent off to overclockers to be replaced. i have vandalised my dads ancient PC to steal its DVD drive while my one is being repaired. i know its ancient, but i wanted to know how ancient
this is what i could find out about it:
model: toshiba DVD-rom SD-M1712
Connection type: ATA + some extra cable that was labelled audio, that my mobo doesnt support.
my dad tells me its probably one of the first PC DVD players ever imported into the country (he bought the PC from his work years ago when he was changing jobs)
