Wont change a thing - Samsung arent about to turn away that kind of business - also no doubt internally Samsungs telecommunications business has zero influence on its semiconductor/lcd panel division...

Would have to agree with you there, it is only an artist impression. I hope they do change the form factor though, few would argue that the iPhone4 is more comfortable in your hand than the 3GS.

Although in saying that I have come to realise now that the rumour-mill for apple products is like no other. Remember the 2011 Macbook Pro's having a separate SSD that boots the OS? Or the iPad2 having an SD card slot and retina screen?

I think the vast majority of us realise that the only time we can be sure as to what the next apple product holds is when it comes from Apple themselves.

All this speculation is pretty fun though and does indeed add to the excitement.

That wouldn't work.. there's no where to put any part of your hand on the left or right...
 
I've been skimming through this thread just now.

I'm still rolling with my ancient 3G :cool: however it's testing my patience some times.

I'm quite happy to upgrade but don't really fancy buying an iPhone 4 if the 4S/5 is right around the corner. I'll quite happily have the 4 if I feel the 5 isn't worth the premium.

I imagine there's lots of speculation for release dates. Is anybody able to tell me how far apart all previous versions of the iPhone have been released? So I can guestimate when to expect a new release?

I'll be after an 8GB, unlocked/pay & go to use with my simplicity sim.

Been every July I believe though current speculation for the iPhone 5 will be a slightly later release, September onwards I believe is the latest guess

The 4 only comes in 16 and 32gb flavours so well sorted for space, I thought 16gb would be enough but think I will go for a 32gb next time, it soon fills up!

Yep you need an edge, it's even more noticeable on tablets due to extra weight. People keep harping on about edge to edge screens, it's a terrible idea. So far it's one of only two bad points. The edge on the iPad could do with being an extra 2mm an edge as occasionally my thumb strays over.
