Installed GTX 460 & PC just dies:(

mmm could be PSU - does whole PC turn off ?

I had similar queries with my GTX480 and my Tagan 700 U-25- which is similar really - has 4x20A rails - but had run the 480 off the 2xPCI-E. Note the 2xPCI-E are off the same rail I think ...

although I have/had some issues with the 480 - in that it won't work at stock volts (leading me to belive 12V rail may be drooping a bit under load) - it wasn't enough to do anything like shut the PSU down

I queried the experts on Jonnyguru PSU forum, and they've said if you over-load one of the rails the PSU will shut-down - well if I'm not saturating 20A with a 480 - I doubt you are with a 460

that said if you PC is turning off completely could well be PSU

not sure
