I'm a pure grass....

Not sure i'm getting the whole moral high ground thing. Seems like you just rang the Police because he was being a ****. Fair enough if that's what you want to do but don't try and dress it up as 'doing the right thing'.

Well it was hardly doing the wrong thing was it?

Well done OP, he got what was coming to him, lucky for everyone he got caught now rather than after he'd killed someone other than himself.

I said it was made easier to call the police as he was being a dick. I'm not fussed that he was a nob but he was a nob that took to the road wrecked out his head. I've been a nob and will be again whilst drunk but won't drive about whilst in that state.

I use the road as a cyclist and don't want some ***** like him driving into me on his way home from work on payday thanks very much.

Yep, you definitely did the right thing OP. On another note, first post in Motors. I might start my own thread in a couple of months when I'll be looking for a first car

Bull. I think you would've phoned the police for anything you thought they might care about just because he was a nob. I couldn't care less that you 'grassed' but the sactimonious BS about 'doing the right thing' is just annoying. You did it because he was an idiot. If he'd been buying you drinks all night you wouldn't have done it. That's fine, just seems odd that you'd put a big holier than thou slant on it.

Nah I doubt that very much. He can be a fanny all he wants as are a lot of people when mad with it. He didn't just get in his car to drive home, instead decided to Raleigh it about a main road threatening people wih a Mallet. That was,in the words of Rick Ross, pushing it to the limit.

I'm drinking and browsing on my phone so please explain where I was holier than though? I simply posted the goings on of the night really. I don't really give a **** in the end.
Xxxxxxxx

You definitely did a good thing :)

However, I have a question for everyone:
If you saw someone have 3/4 beers with his mates at the pub, the usual kinds of patrons. They cause no trouble and keep themselves to themselves, would you ring the police if you saw them get into a car?

unlikely, only if they were obviously inhebriated or acting stupid, that or I didnt like them :o
