Split screen co-op shooters on 360

What games are good for this? A mate of mine and I are looking for something to play together. We'd like something that's new to both of us, so we're both starting from scratch, which rules out both Gears games, all the CoDs bar World at War and all the Halos bar ODST. Are W@W and ODST worth a look? If not, what else am I missing?

I got tempted, if he says "look at me, I'm dancing! I'm dancing!" One more time I'm going to find the voice actor who did that and shove the game disc down his throat.

Army of Two (not the second one though)

...have all given us many days of co-op split screen action.

Try the lego games... no joke, i started with lego star wars, then indiana jones, now harry potter and pirates of the Caribbean shortly.. BEST GAMES EVER! especially for co-op. Not exactly the same type of game as Cod but for a relaxed sesion there is no better game for co-op
