Storms left significant damage around the St. Louis metro area Friday, including at the city's airport, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.

Some of the most intense damage occurred in St. Louis County across Maryland Heights, Bridgeton, St. Ann, Edmundson, Lambert St. Louis International Airport, Berkeley, and Ferguson.

So glad we don't get this kind of weather in the UK. After living in the US for a couple of years, they do get some crazy storms that come out of nowhere sometimes - not fun when flying or driving!
