Ready to order my build on Tues when the cash is avail..

However disaster has struck! I noticed the XFX PSU is out of stock now.. doh'

Is there likely to be new stock just in time? Or are there other alternatives that would be just as good if not better?
Or is it that good that I should attempt to find it somewhere else while ordering the rest of my build here? (This is the build)

Thanks guys (Again)
David

I don't think you'll get a better PSU for the money. Certainly not a modular one.

Do you already have graphics card as there isn't one in your build?

Yeah already got card, aswell as drives.
Cards a Nvidia GTX460 OC edition. No plans to SLI really.

Thanks for suggestions, i'll look into them but most probably get the XFX if I can in time.

I've stressed so much over this build and wanted it done by weekend but forgot about the bank hols and shipping.. and now thats out of stock..
Looking at a thread, it seems the XFX came into stock at the end of March so not sure if they get in new stock that quick... and if they happened to I can't imagine it being on a day only offer and in stock on the day I order (Tues) haha.

Looks like I may have to grab it elseware but then have to pay way more shipping so I get it at same time as the OCUK stuff.. Nothings ever simple

You could have a look at this one:

Perhaps not as many connectors as the XFX but it depends on what the rest of your system is or if you plan any future upgrades.

David, if you happen to be travelling down a south american river you might find an XFX at a bargain price.

Cheers for the suggestion on the Coolermaster silent pro, its another option.

Im most prob not SLI'ing as i'm not a hardcore gamer, and my money is mostly spent on my education/music so need good excuse to get another GFX card :p

And J-FRO I get ya but yeah naughty, i'm sure most of us can use google... out of interest and being a sortof new member of this place, at least with regards to being signed up and posting not lurking.. You can mention you might look elseware, for example what I said in my original post? However stating/hinting where or prices is the bad thing ?

Cheers again guys

Lol, I can see you didn't get the hint...

Oh, a hint was it.

Sounds like a confession to me.

Unless you know something about OcUK offers that the rest of us don't.

Been looking at your suggestions and also looked at this one, bit more money and way more power but its nice and black :p, on offer and modular..

Coolermaster Silent Pro Modular 850W Power Supply [RS850-AMBAJ3-UK ]
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-193-CM

But then theres this one which was reccomended

Coolermaster Silent Pro Modular 700W Power Supply [ RS700-AMBAD3-UK]
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-165-CM&tool=3

But something slipped my mind as some of you asked if I intended to SLI..
I am using a Nvidia 8800GTS for physx in my current build and I would be hoping to move that to the new system also, so would the cheaper of those Coolermaster PSUs be adequete? and would the XFX still be good enough?

Cheers
David
