Hey phone dudes!

Need to get a phone for the missus, main criteria is the ability to do facebook type stuff, but more importantly its gotta have a good battery.

At the mo, she has a Nokia N97 mini and that just lasts a day, and as the missus is on the go she really doesnt have too much time to be charging stuff up, maybe a quick half an hour here or there. So touch phones are out imo.

Having a browse on HUKD, the nokia E5 seems keenly priced, and seems to have a reasonable camera. But what else is worth looking at from say the sony side?

Thanks for any advice chaps!

It's worth noting that a spare battery or two, especially if she would be keeping them in the same handbag, could be a much more low-cost solution.

What is your budget limit?

HTC currently have one Facebook phone out and another on the way, I would imagine they will have fairly decent battery life but its hard to say at the moment.

The iPhone 4 offers a great battery (with light-moderate use it will go for 2-3 days) and excellent Facebook options (along with a superb camera, great video recording, etc) but it is very, very expensive. Hence the budget question above :p

No smartphones really lads, something candybar sized and no more than £150 on the secondhand market.

Like i say the Nokia E5 looks ok for the money, i know symbian is considered poo, but for the simpletons is it ok?
