...slightly overdue as I did the deed on Saturday.

Cutting to the chase; Z4M...Interlagos Blue, no nav (which was a must) and the usual toys that came with the M division cut of the Z4.

Absolutely loving it as it stands. Only downside is it does tramline, but no worse the ST used to and at speed on the motorway she seems a little twitchy, which feels like overinflated tyres. So that needs checking, however I will get it booked in for 4 wheel alignment.

But other than that, it's great. Insurance company only wanted an extra £300, but hopefully come renewal it will drop as I'll be 25 years old...but I'm not holding my breath.

Obligatory pics (apologies they are off a camera phone)

I will (and already do) miss the ST220 a little...

Is that non metalic? Looks a bit dull, but anyway you enjoy that :)

good choice. give it a couple of weeks and you'll forget all about that ST. get yourself over to z4-forum if you haven't already.

a bit of a shame you bought one with a metal roof. real men buy the roadster!

I'll do a proper write up in a few weeks, in the meantime I'm loving the exhaust note when pottling around in the bottom end of the rev range.

The NAV might look a bit "naff", but it's actually reasonably functional with the latest updates and a new nav CD. It also gives you better radio functionality, and you can edit your DSP settings. It also means you don't need a third party Sat Nav system. Win/Win situation!

As for the tram lining, get 4 wheel laser wheel alignment - will set you back £50 or so, but should fix it.

Enjoy the car, it's wonderful the drive - it's just a shame you didn't get a soft top so you can put the roof down and really enjoy those exhaust notes ;)
