Android market - Can't seem to attach my phone to my account?

Hey well I just got my desire hd and android market works fine on the phone and I just log straight into my gmail account. On the pc however I log in and my phone doesn't appear to be registered with my account and the help info is useless.

Suggestions?

Also how do I install apps to my sd card or are they doing that naturally? I'm used to winmo where I can choose.

Menu - Settings - Applications - Manage applications

Then click on the app you want to put on the SD and there will be a option to move to SD.

Also, not all apps can be moved to the SD card, so if the option is grey then the app doesn't allow you to move it.

Cheers, appears that I managed to get it to realise my phone was connected to my account by just keep signing in and out for about 5 times haha.

I'm looking to get CM7 on my phone asap. Found such a nice theme:

Just a quick check.

I am right in saying that when I flash my phone i can redownload the paid for apps for free as i've already spent about £8 on the market.

Once you've paid for the app it just says paid for and you don't have to pay again, however I don't know if rooting makes a difference as I've never done it.

Perhaps someone with rooting experience can tell you more.

Rooting and flashing your phone makes no difference.

Thats good to know, though i've just discovered that some of the aps i've bought might not work with CM7 rom. That's dissapointing. I really wanted to get the ultimate battery app but i don't think it work with cm7. Shame.

What's the full name of the ultimate battery app, as I can't find anything on the market with that exact name.

There is also a cheaper version which does less things like can't let you set settings depending on what the time is or your location etc. It looks to be a great app.
