Quite impressive from a 1.6 engine, wonder how much you can push out of it. Would be good to see some track figures.

Not sure on the orange but its good to see somebody pushing the style boundaries.

Most Cooper S you can squeeze 250+ and they're a 1.6 Turbo PSA Lump

I've seen tons of these (standard model) around Leamington and just don't get the looks at all. They must be very nice to drive haha

I do like this car but it's also a bit of an oddball.

If you're looking at buying a b-segment hot hatch for this money you're a bit mental, but if you are then you probably want some comfort, luxury, prestige (all relative in this sector of course) so you buy a cooper s jcw, or you want all out performance so you buy that new corsa vxr nurburgring edition (or more sensibly save a massive chunk and get a clio 200).

All that said this car has a charm to it and will certainly be unique and a rare sight compared to the aforementioned cars.

Different and pricey but nice IMO at the moment, the lower spec models will probably become the saxo of its time

*Or any other 'raw' hot hatch for that matter. £23K seems rather rich.

looks impressive but the price tag is crazy would probably go with a clio 200 even the new corsa VXR nurburgring is going to be cheaper than that.

0-62 in 6.5 for something that's supposed to be rally inspired? That's pretty slow IMO.

Not a fan of this thing. Don't quite see what's so special about it?

DS3 Racing: £23,205

Mini John Cooper Works: £22,330
Clio 200: £17,810
Clio 200 Cup: £16,810

Says it all really. If you want the 'look', get the Mini JCW, if you want the performance, get the Clio 200. Either way, you have far more choice in colour and other options, and have change left over.

I thought the Corsa VXR NR Edition was comically priced, this is on another level. At least with the VXR you get some very desirable additions.
