Best options for sending a PC across the UK?

hi guys,

Whats the best options for sending a pc across the UK?
i go on the royal mail site and the only viable option that i can see is 'Special Delivery™ Next Day'.

There is 'Same day', but that's very expensive, and also 'special delivery 9am' which again is expensive.
There is also 'First Class', but that doesn't appear to have any compensation.

So i ask,
What is the usual choice for sending such a parcel?
What other options do i have?

(i really did look on royal mail and post office website, but they werent much help, i'd ring them if they were open!)

Parcelmonkey, royal mail are extortionate. Though royal mail do have a pitifully slow standard parcel service if you want to use that, which has compensation.

LOL @ balista.

Whatever you do, make sure it's well packed and well insured, and going with someone who isn't going to bounce it around. If the heatsink comes off in transit you're shafted.
