I thought Schalke looked just a little flat and scared. Manchester United played very well and the midfield just bossed it, Carrick had a lot of time and space. Valencia was wasteful though and Neuer was good, kept Schalke in the game in the first half.

Didn't think much to the condescending talk about Schalke by Sky at times.
