Now that the hype has died down I was hoping to hear whether anyone here as driven one, especially the cloverleaf trim. Is the mpg really that bad, I've seen in some forums, drivers struggling to get 25mpg and some can't even reach low 20's and to top if of they said they've been driving as smooth as possible, but of course how do we know.

I've just about read all reviews and I was hoping to hear some from OCUK. Are Alfa's expensive to maintain?

Best bet would be to ask on AlfaOwner forum.
I know my MiTo doesn't get near the upper mpg in N mode, but I reckon I need to change my driving style to stand a chance. To easy to put it Dynamic and have fun. :)

No idea on the answer to your question but I saw one on the road the other day and thought it looked great :)

I test drove the Guilietta MultiAir 1.4 170, according to reviews this engine is a lot better than the Cloverleaf one, in terms of refinement and economy etc.

I found the car to be a wolf in sheeps clothing. Very sexy looks but pure hot hatch/boyer racer. The DNA (basically pre-loaded suspension and map settings) system worked fantastically, with it engaged in "D" mode the turbo gives 20% more boost the steering weights up and the pedals adjust electronically for you!

I loved the gear box on it, feel really satisfying to smash it into different gears and the power and engine note with the turbo made me grin. The only gripe I had was the driving position, felt abit shopping trolley like and whilst the steering had good feedback, I wasnt keen on the wheel, as it was massive and chunky.

A very good car, especially if you want something alittle different and a hatch with 5 doors. Quoted combined MPG of 48 also which is quite impressive. I'd go for the Veloce trim as you get leather, chrome pedals and various other shiney trinkets which I can't remember.

Unless you want 235BHP from an older gen engine then definatly go for the 1.4 170 and who knows what a rempa could do to it either ;)

Theres one that parks in the train station that I walk past every day. It strikes me as being much like the Mini Cooper S. I would love my GF to own one. That way I could borrow it, but wouldn't have to own it myself.

I test drove the 170 bhp diesel, t'was a hoot. Lovely car, I really want one. Not sure I can afford it just yet :(

I managed over 55mpg over a 20 mile drive in it, lots of 'D' mode too :D

What's wrong with the 1.75T engine? It seems to transform what is quite a warm hatch in the 170bhp model into a significantly hotter one with 230bhp?

I love these cars, they are beautiful!

I'm looking at swapping my 59 plate CTR soon and this is a good contender.

I'm sure a lot of people like them because it's "different", unfortunately different isn't always good.

It looks deformed.

I think people like them because it is the traditional Alfa V shape, like the older cars brought up to date.

Thread disappoints :(

I was hoping to see a Sprint Zagato
