So, sat in my room, just finishing watching the United game and I remembered my windows were still open and my light was on. Moth attractor numero 1.

I swivvle round on my chair, lo and behold I see this thing come flying at me and it sounds like a ****ing plane.

All that was going through my head was the Top Gun theme tune and running the heck out of my room.

Can anyone identify what on earth this thing is?!? :(

Apologies in advance for the poor pictures, I didn't want to hang about getting a fantastic photo of this thing.
 
It's a Penis Scrat-I mean Cockchafer.

Also known as June Fl-I mean May Bug.

Not to be confused with the Cockteas-I mean your mum.

*Disclaimer - I'm eating 5 miute chocolate cake and apparently I put too much sugar and chocolate in it so now I feel like a 5 year old that just snorted a kilo of sherbet.

Knew GD would pull through for me.

I absolutely hate any type of insect and ones that fly and buzz about scare me to no end. Allergic to wasps so even flies have me running away until I realise what they are.

It was having a right go at the glass/cardboard, quite the fiesty bugger!
 
I thought someone was in my sisters kitchen when one of these found its way in and started bashing the light!
