She has some similarities. My wife is independent, headstrong, stubborn just like my mother. However my mother is also loud, opinionated and refuses to admit she is wrong.
Also physically my mother is tall for a woman and my wife short.
I like independent, strong willed women so I guess that they will be like my mother. Freud isn't right though!

My mum and my gf aren't similar in personality, but they nag me in exactly the same way.
And neither of them were originally born in the UK. Couple that with their unique sense of female logic and I spend a lot of my time 'lost in translation' between both of them

My mum looks very similar to my girlfriends mum when they were younger. That's about it from my side. I don't know my old man.
Me, my girlfriend and her parents are very similar in views and personality wise, I get along well with them. My GF also has identical views and we're that similar it's very scary considering we met by chance because she saw me. It's got to the stage now where I know what she's going to do or say before she does it, bizarre but perfect.

Nah, they don't look alike in their older ages, don't worry and my GF looks nothing like my mum, completely different facial features, body shape, hair colour. All entirely different

My wife is 5ft tall and caucasian, my mother is 5ft 11 and native American, so no they dont look the same at all, neither do they have the same temperment either, quite the opposite in fact.

Over the last few weeks I've begun to realise that my fiance is pretty much identical to my mother in every possible way.
This is a very very worrying thing and is likely going to break us up in the next few days I would imagine.
