You can't really go wrong with Donnie Brasco.

I seem to recall people saying Heat was good, but I haven't seen it.

Goodfellas is my favourite out of the gangster films I've seen.

I'd forgotten about Heat. Its got one of my all time favourite action sequences in it when they rob the bank.

The Sting. That's an absolute gem (very memorable theme tune of course). Good Robert Redford film.

And here's a bit of a sideways suggestion but hey: Some Like It Hot! (ok ok ok, it's sort of a gangster film!)

Heh, careful not to include "the other one" there! It's the reason why the Godfather films should never be classed as a "great trilogy". Because they just weren't.
