Pure garbage, awful, blander then bland, I would rather drive in a bloody chevvy cruze! Why bother making cars when you can't even be bothered to make it look remotely interesting or at least handsome.

I have a question for all those complaining about the looks of this car: if you did like how it looked, would you buy a new one? Because if the answer is no, then Subaru don't care. They don't give a stuff about second-hand ones because they don't make any money out of those. Just new ones. And the market for new Imprezas is rather different to the market for second/third/fourth-hand ones.

Subaru have being getting uglier and uglier with each new Impreza they release, that was my point. Even the STI/WRX hatchbacks are foul compared to the classics.

Agreed. The boggo ones always look a bit naff.

Version I like the least is the hatchback. I even like the very ugly bugeye (probably my next purchase too)

Personally would disagree. Subaru have made some handsome and cool looking cars in the past, well the "cool looking cars" is probably more an acquired taste, I personally love quirky cars, and the likes of the svx and xt are right up my books, big fan of the mk1 leone coupe, r2 and the 360. The 1st to 4th gen Legacy's imo were all handsome cars, love the mk4 in particular. The 1st gen impreza were bland in base trim but they weren't offensive to look at, the 2nd gen bar the bug eye were handsome looking. This new impreza on the other hand is offensively dull, such a dated design for 2011 heck the classic impreza looks more modern! The only half decent looking car in the current subaru lineup is the forester.
