Hi there, I'm having an issue with my Xbox 360 Slim using VGA (Always have).

Originally I used to have an Xbox 360 120GB Elite plugged into my 22" 1920x1080 Dell P2210H using the Xbox 360 VGA cable, allowing me to also use my Logitech x540's.

However, when using it on my slim it doesn't display an image? Sound works fine, and my monitor's LED stays blue (If it didn't detect a signal it'd be amber)

So, what's up?.

Cheers.

I had something like this when I plugged in my 360 to my Samsung TV. The resolution it was outputting by default wasn't supported so I had to navigate the menus blind by using a video on YouTube to reset them to a different resolution.

the vga cable does work with the slim i used it for a couple of months with a similar problem

try hooking it up to a tv set a lower resolution (from display settings within the xbox ) then hooking your monitor up
