Well I have done it, placed the order for my new machine with Overclockers late last night. Had the joys of phoning up the bank to authorise the transaction as it was flagged up as an "out of character transaction" by my banks anti-fraud system. Least I know it works ahahah :)

I decided to go for the Ultima Monosaur I7 Sandybridge gaming system. I custom built my last PC, but on this occasion my heart isn't in it to put it all together. I'll pay Overclockers to do it :)

Have also gone for a second graphics card option too, so I'm really looking forward to getting it. Earliest delivery time is Tuesday next week. I did specify no OS as I already have my own copy, so the machine just needs putting together and shipping. Not sure if OC do any testing before they ship. I'd love it if they could work a miracle and have it delivered on Saturday but, if I have to wait until Tuesday then I must! :D

Really cannot wait, I'll be able to play games again!!!!! :D:D

Should have posted this in General Hardware for some reasonable replies.

With that being said, enjoy single life again! :D

Nice one OP, I'm about to order a new machine, my last OC machine was bought 4 years ago, lasted well but I use a lot of VMs so need a new kick ass system, I've been playing around with the new Configure your system stuff.

Aberdeen is too small not to know some one who works in the same IT company anyway haha. I'm currently based in CNR, you working Friday too?

Unfortunatley yes ahah. I added you on MSN man, don't know if you can use it at CNR as I haven't been on that site yet :) I was meant to be there a few weeks ago but got bumped and sent somewhere else instead due to last minute changes ahaha, seems to happen quite a lot.

Worst I’m getting a flashy new pc thread ever.

Welcome. :)

Well, as someone said I probably shoudl've put it in the general hardware thread, and I did think of doing that.....but for some reason decided against it :D

My current PC was built in 2007, its had it day and has done what it was supposed to do, but now its time to bring in a new toy.
