Anything worth waiting for coming out soon?

Hey all, I have a choice between building a PC now for £1000 or building a PC later on in the year (Sept/Oct time) with a more £600/£700 budget. I've got a spec sorted for now but is there anything forecast to be released in the next 6 months or so that's worth waiting for? I know about AMD's new processors coming out soon but I can't really see them beating the current value for money of an overclocked Sandybridge. Anything I should know before committing?

TL;DR - Purchase £1000 computer now, or a £600/£700 computer in 6 months time?

Thanks :)

May as well build now then. A PC built for £1000 now will almost certainly beat a £600 PC built in 6 months. Will it be used for gaming/general PC stuff or something more specific? Any particular requirements?

New intel motherboards (z67) which aren't that relevant for gamers. And new AMD cpus (bulldozer) which could be interesting because they will have approximately 128 billion cores each :p

haha

Just build now SB is great and will last you a while... you can always upgrade the GPU in the future, a £700 machine in 6 months time probably won't beat a machine toaday for 1k, you also need to take into consideration that 6 months is a long time to wait just buy it now!!

Use the extra £300 now and build a system now and overclock it that way you should be fine for at least a year or two (if not longer). What do you want to use the computer for since if we know we can spec something up for you if you would like?
