What a great car to get for free and it even seems to be in good condition. Well done.
One bit of advice though. Keep on top of the maintenance. If you don't the costs of fixing things will spiral up in the future.

Lovely car, i tried to get one across the road from my parents.
It was a MG GT in black english plates. The owner was renting the house, left and dumped the car in the drive. Was there for 5 years tried to get in contact with the owner but could not, so the council removed and crushed it.
Same thing happened to a Mk3 Ford Capri 2.8 around the corner from my parents, this was dumped for years on the public road.

Got it taxed and home tonight, popped to the supermarket and back
Got one of the chaps in the car park to give it a quick go over for a fiver, will give it a proper clean tommorrow.
Just fits nicely into my garage too! Will get some more pics in the morning, and have a good poke about to see what needs to be done!
It drives really well, but the steering wheel is really a bit too large. Its nice for low speed turning as its a bit heavy, but gets in the way when making progress. Might have to find a replacement, any ideas?
