The Corsair Hydro Series H60 is a fantastic choice for cooling. With a new micro-channel cold plate and a split-flow designed manifold, the H60 brings remarkable new technologies to an affordable price point. If that weren’t enough, the H60 also features an all-new fan, custom designed to offer enhanced static pressure, which means better cooling.
You don’t have to sacrifice performance to build a quiet system. Most high-performance coolers use crude, outdated designs that rely on two techniques: put a huge hunk of metal in your case or crank the fan to obnoxiously loud noise levels. The Hydro Series coolers feature innovative, cutting-edge designs that utilize the superior thermal conductivity of liquid over air to provide fantastic cooling at much lower noise levels. In fact, the H60 is similar in noise levels to a 120mm case fan you probably already have.
Almost any case with a rear 120mm fan mount location can house the Hydro Series H60 CPU cooler. And don’t worry about compatibility with your CPU, we’ve got you covered. AMD® sockets AM2 and AM3 are covered, and without having to install a custom backplate, making the H60 a great choice for any modern AMD CPU up to the new Phenom six-core processors. And when it comes to Intel®, don’t worry about it. Whether you’ve got Socket LGA775, LGA1155, LGA1156, or LGA1366, we’ve got compatibility inside the box. That’s right, even the brand new Core i5 and Core i7 2x00 series processors are supported, right out of the box.

Has this replaced the H50?, i see Ocuk taken them off, it was on there yesterday, i got my H70 yesterday very good lovin it, part from its loud

Will we be able to buy those fans seperately?

Anything with a plus on static pressure will be a winner for the water boys won't it :)

I'm curious why on the 3rd version the plate isn't mirrored finish... is that not odd?

How does this compare the antec Kuhler?
Does anyone know of some side by side comparisons, I'm yet to see any. Im interested in what the extra tenner gets you.

This is actually very tempting I'm currently facing the problem of a high temp i7 920 D0 and I'm struggling to find a fan cooler that will fit in my case!

Indirect comparisons suggest this isn't that good.

Most reviews say the Antec 620 is a good improvement on the H50 due to the better pump unit. This seems to be only a marginal improvement on the H50.

With the Antec being cheaper, its still a better bet.

IMO the Antec 920 is a H70 with flexable tubes and USB fan control.

I will be going for the Antec 920 due to this quote:

"There are three settings for the software - silent, extreme and custom. Custom allows you to customize the temperatures at which the fan speed will ramp up and hit maximum RPM."

Also the 920 has a larger radiator than the 620 and dual high-speed fans.

Sorry...high jacked the H60 thread with my "Loving the Antec 920" talk...sorry.
Here are some comparisons IMO if you are thinking of buying the H60. These opinions are based on web reviews.

In terms of performance with equivalent fans: (920 being the best)
920 > H70 & 620 > H60 > H50

In terms of noise: (H70 being the loudest)
H70 > 920 > 620> H50 > H60

In terms of price: (H70 being the most expensive)
H70 > 920 > H60 > H50 > 620

All this will change depending on your system and fan setup. Just gives an idea to anyone thinking of buying the H60.

I'm interested to see how loud the pump is on these. Currently have a H50 with Apache's push/pull and the H50 pump is the loudest thing in my rig, it would be nice to find something a bit quieter. Not bothered if the temp improvements aren't that great as I'm happy enough with the H50 temps wise with my i5 @ 4GHz.
