GT3 RS 4.0

Easily my favourite Porsche yet, 500BHP from an N/A engine, lightweight, I WANT!

Just been out in a 996 GT3 RS Clubsport thing with KW V3 suspension and OMG it was pretty damn epic even on the road, I can't wait to get mine sounding more like that, was so immense and so so raw. That had 380BHP, can only imagine what this new one with 500BHP must feel like. :D  :D

i don't like the decals and colour combo, just looks a bit tacky and still think the 997 GT3RS Gen 1 is the looker, even though aesthetics aside this is the daddy. Some of the Pistonheads comments are sadly typical of that site these days too. :(

Just reading the pistonheads comments

This does kind of make the purchase of a 4.0 RS a little silly

Thats cracking value right there !

Cracking value until you add the trailer, tow vehicle, couple of engineers/mechanics you'd want at your side during a day of trashing a highly strung race car around a track and the ever looming prospect that the previous owner thought it needed £35k worth of work after only 3 years and 10,000 miles to be at it's absolute best. What are the costs going to be next time it needs refreshing?

Cool car but not really on the same page of 'hassle free' track car as the RS. You turn up, you have your fun, you drive home. As far as I'd be concerned that's what you're paying for more than anything.

I wish mate, nowhere near enough pennies at the moment....one day (I keep saying). MX-5 Racing for me keeps my motoring mojo going. :D

Yea you have, your just channeling it somewhere, if its good, put me in :)

Luckily I'm in a position that I'll see these, We've got a RSR on order for a customer, but it depends if Porsche decide to give us one. Crazy; you order a car and expect to be able to supply it to your customer.
