Royal Mail in Scotland. Union flag is bigoted.

OK - I live a bit closer and have lived in both the UK and Ireland.

I am British and my wife is Irish.

Both sides are as bad as each other.

Does that sit better?

Well I'd disagree. I think the major problem in Glasgow is anti-irish and anti-catholic bigotry. Which fairly obviously isn't going to be coming from Celtic.

Kinda reminds me of a dog ****ing against lamp posts marking its territory. Its funny how a lot of Loyalist areas somehow feel the need to keep flags out all year round, even those purple flags with a union flag in the corner and "UVF" on it. But theyre just "Proud of their heritage", right? Most Nationalist areas that ive observed put out flags on certain days then theyre taken down soon after. Bound to be exceptions to the rule but it seems that loyalists are incredibly flag happy to say the least..

Lost track of the amount of battered union flags and ulster flags ive seen that are in tatters as theyve been in the elements for literally years. Even the Murals in Loyalist areas seem to be incredibly uvf\uff orientated, in Nationalist areas i can't remember the last time i seen a picture of a guy in a balaclava wielding a gun with some gimmicky slogan across it. Seen a few of Wee King Billy and his imaginary white horse and the revisionist history added "no Surrender" slogan, always amusing to see that people still suck that crap up :)

We are talking about the Union flag, you are playing out your own prejudices.

Well I know people living in Glasgow who hate all the anti-British stuff.

It really depends on who you talk to.

The people who have a problem with the British are idiots and the people who have a problem with the Irish are Idiots.

I lived in Ireland for about 15 years and was the victim of a huge amount of abuse because I was English. My wife's grandmother had black and tans stick a gun in her mouth while looking for the IRA and her uncle was blown up and lost an eye in a loyalist bomb in Banbridge in Northern Ireland.

We are both agreed that it is only the lowest idiots who propagate this hatred.

I lived in Glasgow for 5 years and had the marches go past our flat every time the bigots (BOTH sides) wanted to do their thing.

I'm a Fifer (yeah, sue me) and I love Glasgow and its people to bits. The religion thing is a nonsense.

Keep my current location out of it.

Wow, 5 years, you must be an expert then.

What marches and what do you consider bigoted about them? And why don't you expand on what you think is the religion thing? Then we might have some grounds to bring you up to date :)

If Iain Paisley and Martin McGuinness can work together in Northern Ireland how low do you need to be to not be able to look to the future.

Perhaps they had good reason to do that from a footballing only angle?

Keane is and will always be a legend through his sheer passion, I assume that you are inferring its a passion the game can do without?

I didn't say that man.

You know exactly where they start and where they finish. We saw them 3 or 4 times a year.

Up to date? The irony is shocking.

Yep

Also, the guy has an ego the size of a planet. He turned his back on his country because his ego got in the way.

Well I know about Orange walks but you said both sides so what else are you on about?

That's why Lennon is loved by the Celtic fans and loathed by the Rangers fans.

It's a shame the religous divide is confused with Pasion. As much as I don't side with Rangers or Celtic, we need to maintain the Pasion without upseting fifa, the queen, and Marilyn Manson.

Garbage

Keane had a heart of passion, you could never deny that, the same as Cantona and Ferguson, can you imagine this in the champions league final:

MIdfield: Cantona, Keane
Forward: Big Dunc, Rooney

I would pay good money for that because I know that that midfield was made of iron and Big Dunc would give his all, it wouldnt fall over if the wind blew the wrong way.

You can add Viera to that as well and Butt.

I totally disagree with you, football is missing those players today and replaced by cheating diving fakes.

Certain players only look good because they are protected, you cant touch any player today without getting booked.

Take the RM Barca game, I think Moruinho played a fair game, why should everyone cry because RM tried to kick Barca off the park?

Isn't that the way Leeds play every week lol

I thought it was about tactics and defeating the opposition through tactical superiority whatever that is, not oh they play football we have to do the same, but they are far superior to us at playing footbal so we will lose, oh well.
