Is there much difference between 3gb gtx580 and 1.5gb

Apart from the extra memory, would there be a considerable difference? The 3gb seem to have lower clock speeds. So on 1920x1080 would the the faster clock speed be best or more memory?

there's absolutely no need for 3GB unless you'er running whatever the nvidia equivalent of eyefinity is called.

So I'm best getting a super clocked 1.5 gb like the twin frozr II which is faster (clock) quieter and much cheaper lol. It also looks the part thanks!

Not exactly "super clocked".

The GPU is clocked about 3.6% more than the standard card.

Yeah I don't mean it's been super clocked! That's just the name of the card I was referring to! Some are called ultra charged and oc too! Some are 850mhz Compared to 772 standard
