What did you do......

I put it on stream on my pc and left it on in the background, watched only the vows and when they came onto the balcony. Other time was spent doing coursework/browsing forums.

I was writing an assignment, dipped in now and again to see how it was going. My wife and daughter went to a friends to watch it and we had a BBQ in the afternoon. All in all a good day, so thanks to the happy couple for giving us a day off! Nice of the Queen to arrange the weather too...:D

I was revising in the campus library. :o When I got back to my flat, I just chilled out with some guitar and had an evening that consisted of zero royal wedding. :p

Woke up at 11am, went downstairs and made a brew. Turned on the TV whilst getting ready for work and had to leave just gone 12pm. Was at work for the rest of the day and evening.

Fun day for me yesterday.

Got up at 4.30am for work (usual wake up time for me on a work day)
Had to wait for some of my calls to open @ 9am so I took my 45 minute break to look around the new Sainsburys in the town where I deliver on Fridays (Dunno why I bothered, its the same as the old one only bigger )
Finished 3 hours early, went home.

Turned the telly on for a bit to see what was going on, then decided that when you've seen one royal wedding you've seen them all (I'm old enough to have seen William's dad get hitched 30 years ago :p ) So I got on with redesigning & updating the charity website I'm 'webmaster' (so the other members of my Charity group say :D) on its new host (vidahost) as I got fed up with the poor service from the host the current site is sitting on - I'm going to get great pleasure in telling that old host to get stuffed! :D

I just noticed this on the Guardian website:

 :D

I think it's a good idea, it should just start with the royal wedding hidden. ;)

If there were more than a comparative handful of republicans in the UK then I suspect it would have.

Republic of Great Britain..pfft! (we're not the damned French you know);):p

It is interesting though, obviously one of the Editors at the Guardian is a Republican.....

I had a cheeky little lie-in and then watched it until they got back to the palace. I missed the balcony scene but caught that on YouTube later. Not so much a died-in-the-wool royalist as someone who just enjoyed the festivity of the thing.

didnt watch any of it, didnt do much else, not a fan of stuff like that, its too 'celebrity' for me

Not into the royals much but it was a historic event so I watched it with my sister and was a pretty good event overall
